Guided By Dad

Guided by Dad is Family Enrichment Network's federally funded Family, Opportunity, Resilience, Grit, Engagement-Fatherhood (FORGE-Fatherhood) program. Guided by Dad is a comprehensive fatherhood initiative designed to equip dads with the skills, knowledge, and support they need. Our program focuses on parenting education, emotional connection, and family strengthening.provides targeted support services for low-income fathers and couples/co-parents, ages 18 and older, in Broome County, Chenango County, and Tioga County who are parenting children and youth up to age 24. Program activities are designed to address the unique strengths, needs, and challenges of parents.

The program focuses on strengthening parenting skills, improving healthy relationships, and increasing economic stability to help participants overcome barriers that impact family well-being and long-term success. Through the use of evidence-based curriculum, trauma-informed case management, comprehensive employment supports, and strong partnerships with community organizations, Guided by Dad equips fathers and co-parents with the tools and resources needed to build healthy families and stable futures.

By promoting responsible fatherhood, supporting healthy co-parenting and relationships, and fostering economic self-sufficiency, Guided by Dad works to create positive outcomes for parents, children, and the broader community.
