WIC Help NY is a new program designed to help those individuals who are eligible to apply for WIC.

WIC benefits are available to income eligible women who are pregnant or breast feeding and children up to  five years old.

WIC benefits for children up to five years old are also available to their caregivers such as dads, granddads, foster care parents & kinship caregivers. 

The WIC Help NY Specialsit will help with needed documents, setting up the initial appointment and explain the new eWIC benefits card.

 WIC can offer (depending on personal nutrition needs) formula, fruits, vegetables, milk, whole grains, baby food, 100% juice, cereal, and more!


Besides offering supplemental nutritious foods, WIC offers nutrition counseling, breastfeeding support, peer counseling, and referrals to health and other services.

No! Recently, the new eWIC system rolled out in New York. Instead of the checks that were always a hassle, WIC benefits are now on an EBT card (electronics benefit card). This should make for a better shopping experience!
